NOTHING IS MEANT TO STAY THE SAME

Tell me those stars in the sky are going to stay there forever.

And I'll guarantee you that I'll always be right here until I die.

And I know you can't tell me this because you know nothing is designed to stay the same.

And you're well aware of it!

I tried to cling on to the bliss I'd found, but it had deserted me.

Until you opened my eyes to see, I thought you and I were one and the same.

Because nothing is designed to stay the same, and you know it, I can't be the one for you forever.

You already know!

I went downtown in search of our favourite club, but I couldn't find it because it had been converted into a grocery shop.

Every memory we created there is now being rubbed away, and there's no way to stop it.

It's like we've reached a fork in the road, since nothing stays the same, and you know it.

You already know!
